Those donations came from people employed under DOD, which could be AD military--or it could be GS-5 civilians working at some Army post. BIG difference. They know it's not necessarily active duty military (unless they're completely brain-dead), but they keep pushing this lie because his cultists *want* to believe it, and because the antiwar Left wants to believe it as well. Fat chance it'll get fact-checked by the defeatist mainstream media!
